The Opportunity

As our Head of Design, you’ll join the leadership team to shape and scale our product design function from the ground up. This isn’t just another role — it’s a chance to take real ownership, influence product direction, and help design one of the most impactful B2B SaaS products in Europe.

We’ve been focused on building – now it’s time to level up our design. Our ambition is not only to lead in technology and user value, but also in product design. We’re looking for someone who can own that journey and help Tendium stand out globally.

You’ll lead by doing — working hands-on across the entire design lifecycle while defining the long-term strategy, building a world-class design team, and establishing a strong design culture.

You’ll lead product design at Tendium alongside Product and Engineering, building the team from today’s one dedicated digital designer to a best-in-class design organisation over time. In this early phase, you’ll also help shape our visual identity and collaborate on broader design needs, including marketing and branding.

What You’ll Do
• Own and evolve our end-to-end product design process
• Lead user research, journey mapping, and high-fidelity UI/UX design
• Build and mentor a multi-disciplinary design team
• Develop and scale a cohesive design system
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams
• Guide broader design needs, including website and marketing materials
• Support international expansion with a keen eye on localisation and UX
• Stay at the forefront of design best practices, tools, and trends
• Become an expert in the world of public-sector sales and procurement

Who You Are
• Proven experience designing and shipping exceptional B2B SaaS products
• Skilled in product thinking, visual design, interaction design, and systems
• Strong communicator with design rationale and leadership presence
• Personally driven — motivated to lead, build, and make a real impact
• Comfortable with hands-on work and high-level strategy
• Experienced in building design teams and leading through growth
• Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
• Curious about state-of-the-art AI and the future of design in tech
• Previous experience at a fast-growing SaaS company is a strong plus
