The Job

As a UX/UI Designer at Tendium you will play a pivotal role in driving the creative direction and design strategy of our organisation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Software Engineers, and our Marketing Team, to ensure that design initiatives are seamlessly integrated into our products and services.

We imagine that you will be responsible for guiding and inspiring our team to create innovative and impactful solutions. Your excellent design knowledge and leadership skills will be instrumental in creating our brand's future and bringing our users only the best possible experiences.

Simply put, you have a passion for design, innovation, and a keen eye for detail.

We are primarily looking for candidates in Stockholm and the surrounding areas. This is a full-time position with a 6-month probationary period.

As a UX/UI Designer at Tendium, your main focus areas will be:

• Setting the creative direction and design standards for our organisation, ensuring that our design language and brand identity are consistently upheld across all touchpoints.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders to define design goals, requirements, and project timelines, and develop strategies to meet those objectives.

• Drive the end-to-end design process, including research, ideation, concept development, prototyping, and execution, while ensuring a user-centered approach.

• Turning complex user flows and advanced features into intuitive, seamless experiences by seeing the big picture and optimising connections.

• Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI/UX patterns to streamline design workflows and ensure consistency.

• Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality design outputs and continuous improvement.

• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our design capabilities.

• Advocate for user experience and accessibility, championing the importance of usability, clarity, and inclusivity in all design deliverables.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse user feedback, conduct usability testing, and iterate on designs to optimise user satisfaction and engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and innovative tech-environment.

• Previous experience working as a Designer for SaaS companies.

• Proficiency in using Figma.

• Bachelor's degree in design, visual communication, or a related field.

• Strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise across a variety of projects, including digital interfaces (and preferably prototypes and process of the same), print materials, branding, and visual storytelling.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and drive projects to completion.

• Experience with design thinking methodologies and conducting user research is highly desirable. 

It is merited if one or more of the following points apply to you:

• 5+ years of experience designing for SaaS companies.

• Knowledge of front-end development technologies is a plus.

• Proficiency in creating clickable prototypes.
